“I am not who you think I am; I am not who I think I am; I am who I think you think I am ”
― Thomas Cooley, Inscriptions: Prairie Poetry
I am your perception… as long as you are not very close to me.
We all are our images created in society by us and the society itself.
You might be a musician,a sexy lass, a intelligent student, a class A foot ball player, a drummer or what ever.
The problem is that , most people we know are slaves of their image. As soon as our so called image in society is tarnished or ruined, we see either people changing or ourselves changing, if we are on other side of fence.
This behavior of ours is totally based on selfish genes and utilitarian era.
Behavior of those people shall rarely change (Very closed friends , family members etc.) who know us inside out and are less interested in out outer social mask.
Knowing somebody is always different from understanding some body.
