Subtle Rules OF Texting
Usually I don’t end a text or email conversation if it’s not related to professional work.
A formal ending solicits a formal beginning and often makes conversation too formal. Ending often requires a lot of pain and guilt feeling.
Scientifically speaking (Zeigarnik effect) unfinished tasks remain active in your mind and hence incomplete communications retain their importance.
Even for new acquaintances,if you want to end any conversation, end them with a call for action, like call me tomorrow or lets restart next day or whatever. Never end with ‘bye’ but with a promise of further connection.
Continuance is the key. Else burden to break the jinx or resistance will again creep in.
