Absolutely.Without doubt.Any time.

  • Yes I was an Android fan boy [Still love it.Along with iPhone 5S, I have one plus X and also have Motorola Droid, Samsung, Black Berry Z 10 (Now Stolen).]
  • My arguments against Apple were
    • Just an marketing gimmick by Steve jobs and company.Overpriced over hyped phone only for showy people .(Please note that I had affordability and was using Blackberry Z 10, before it got stolen).
    • A lot of restrictions, no customization, Apple gardened (walled) eco-system.
    • Compatible mostly with Apple products.
    • Costly repairs and most importantly : Paid apps, huh!!
  • When my lovely Z 10 got stolen in first class of local train, while I was traveling from Thane to Dombivaly for a class, I thought of purchasing one more Z 10 (Yes. Blackberry is ultimate business mobile, better than an I phone if used only for work purpose). But people advised to buy iPhone at least for once in a life time flaunt value experience!. (I mentioned ‘first class’ to make people believe that no class is different.Thieves have no class).
  • My students also loved iPhone and hence I purchased one.Yes iPhone is classy and its worth every penny spent on it.My arguments.
    • iPhone is NOT the costliest phone out there.People who purchase an iPhone can purchase any other phone in that range. I don’t think in terms of flaunt value Samsung S6 lags behind an iPhone in any department.  So why there are so many repeat and new buyers for an iPhone, queuing up for up to two weeks in Apple stores all over the world ? The only one reason stands out is  : The sheer detailing. I cannot describe from here even if I had visited Taj Mahal, for why it is one of the seven wonders of the world. Only who have seen it can describe it. As Bill Clinton famously said : There are two kinds of people in this world, one who have seen a Taj and other who haven’t. Same goes with an iPhone. Before you android authority fans start slamming me, let me explain few points. Also I love android also and still use it.
  • What is so special ? I will list only few points.
    • Alarm : I never ever use my one plus to set an alarm or stop watch or timer. Why ? Its so counter intuitive. In my iPhone , I just swipe up, click alarm (With out unlocking the phone), scroll up the time and the timer starts. The design is minimalist and require no thinking. Again a counter argument given by Android fan boys is that iPhone is for dumb people and android is for advance people. No, I beg to differ. I have better work to do than to figure out how to set an alarm.Productive people like minimum distraction and useless thinking.

Two steps timer on. For android the steps are more than three.

    • Excellent touch experience.
    • No lag.Never hanging. Uniform user experience. Excellent camera and thousand many small things which save you from frustration.
    • Why it is like that ? Its behind the details and attention to details which Apple pays. The have six sigma process for cutting of the edges of iPhone. You may find many more details and may know many of them also.
    • Not to mention again excellent camera.(My iPhone camera beats one plus hands down, which is two years advanced).
    • About paid apps : They are also passed by apple. They are polished. Also how many apps (Paid) does any one uses. Only 10. So 10$ or so more on apps. Many apps are free also. Its all in the mind. People spend 500 bucks in a movie now a days. How can app developer survive if we don’t pay for there hard work. He will sell you ads, malware, crap-ware and your privacy!
  • In conclusion , Apple offers a total user experience, which is un-matchable. But I still use my Android for google services and also for occasional call recording ( Not supported by Apple).

Buy once, you will never switch.
