The most powerful tip which I learned from various self help books which I read in my life is

  • Positive attitude is ONLY indicator of real success : I find positives in everything. Suppose I went to meet someone special and they cannot come for any reason, I shall not get upset.Rather I shall us that opportunity to visit the place, near by places and meet new people!. Every failure has a lesson and a hidden opportunity. Only those who have the eyes can see that!

[pullquote]Suppose you work in a office. Your core job is programming. If you just go on doing you job efficiently and learning more about your language and NOT measuring how far you have come, you will reach hill tops.[/pullquote]

  • Focus on your job Yes do your job and forget about outcomes. All the religious scriptures and all the motivational speaker teach us the power of ‘doing’ and not waiting (read expecting) the outcome.Yes Geeta teaches us the same, so does the Bible. If you just go on doing your core job, you will improve so much and so fast that you can’t even imagine!. This is a difficult trick to understand and follow.      Suppose you work in a office. Your core job is programming. If you just go on doing you job efficiently and learning more about your language and NOT measuring how far you have come, you will reach hill tops. To measure we have to look back and go back(in mind) to the place where we started. It kills time!
  • I have written a similar answer and hence not repeating the points.
