On any given day I read on average 100 pages. This includes kindle books, websites and other research.

I research a lot on multiple topics ranging from healthy diet to psychology to science to philosophy to what not.

I at times make note form the material to my google docs. I have many files named health tips to psychology and biases to love to Quotes to book ideas to incomplete books to many more.

I retain much of this information because

  • It caters to my basic interest.
  • I already have knowledge in these fields and I kind of link my new knowledge to the existing knowledge.
  • I often revise my material.
  • The key to retention is application. I write about what I learnt, some times apply in real life etc.
