AI, technology, education, and ideas about what comes next.
Social Credit Currency could reward verified social contribution in an AI-driven economy—supporting Universal Basic Employment while a productivity dividend shares automation’s gains.
What if technological progress focused on enhancing human intelligence rather than concentrating it in powerful AI systems? Localised General Intelligence offers a human-centred alternative.
A proposed future in which intelligence, competitive pressure, and the complexity of civilisation gradually shift decision-making from humans to AI.
AI is making intellectual execution abundant. Explore why specialised judgment, critical checkpoints and AI orchestration may reshape expertise and create a K-shaped economy.
AI is weakening the scarcity of specialised knowledge and execution. What does that mean for professional careers, education and the future value of expertise?
AI is making expertise, execution and innovation easier to reproduce. As competitive moats erode and competition intensifies, adaptability may become the advantage that matters most.
AI may displace existing tasks—but job-loss forecasts can miss the new fields, micro-specializations and expert networks that become possible when the cost of thinking falls.
When AI makes intelligence abundant, the real question is who owns the machinery that produces it.
When AI automates execution—and may eventually supply the instructions too—what happens to human expertise, work, and purchasing power?
AI may not need to eliminate your job to eliminate the economic value of your job. The deeper disruption can begin with tasks, hiring, salaries, career ladders and ownership long before the layoff.
When execution becomes abundant, ideas become scarce.
AI can do work worth $1,000 yet cannot earn $1 on its own. The missing piece is economic agency: customers, authority, ownership, capital and control.
When AI and robotics make production increasingly abundant, the bottleneck may move from productivity to human attention, agency, meaning and choice.
AI can multiply cognitive productivity dramatically, but the real economy is constrained by human time, attention, consumption, infrastructure and demand.
