99% of us are leading fake life.
[pullquote]The problem is not with the ego but with the dependency of our happiness on our inflated ego.[/pullquote]
We all are working to satisfy our little pseudo ego on the roll. That car, that big house, that vacation trip, all are here to justify ‘who we are’ to the world.
The problem is not with the ego but with the dependency of our happiness on our inflated ego.
Deep down we all are in a race. [pullquote]Bliss is our basic nature. We are born with bliss. Until we begin to realize who we are, we are utmost happy. Once we become something, someone, our happiness gets tied down to our ‘personality’. This is where the problem begins to spread.[/pullquote] competing to show to the world who we are, what we can do etc. etc. I do not say ego is bad or you should stop competing but what I emphasize is that your happiness must be independent of your possessions and prestige.
Bliss is our basic nature. We are born with bliss. Until we begin to realize who we are, we are utmost happy. Once we become something, someone, our happiness gets tied down to our ‘personality’. This is where the problem begins to spread.
Research has conclusively proven that we fall in true love before turning 22. Why ?
Because before that age our ego or self is not fully developed. We are either student or virtually an assistant or whatever. We can identify with love and usually our ego does not come in between us and our love.
Ego is not bad if you understand the nature of ego and act accordingly.
